Buffett on Goldman Sachs, Derivatives, and the Economy

In a lengthy interview today with CNBC’s Becky Quick, Warren Buffett discusses many of the topics that were covered during the Berkshire Hathaway 2010 annual meeting including the Goldman Sachs Abacus transaction under investigation by the SEC.  He also discusses the overall state of the United States economy.

As an aside, many shareholders wonder why Mr. Buffett seems to be giving more television interviews in recent years.  According to reports of the Q&A Session on Saturday, in response to a shareholder question, Mr. Buffett indicated that he is less likely to be quoted out of context on television compared to print media.
