The interest in this site’s coverage of BYD’s e6 Pure Electric Vehicle has been very strong.  I initially looked into BYD after Berkshire Hathaway announced an investment in the company.  Although I have been skeptical of hybrids and electric vehicles for a long time, I think that the statistics associated with the e6 almost guarantee that electric vehicles will have a place in the American car market over the next decade.

I found the video appearing below from a post on the Mispricing blog through a link on the Nightly Investment Links website.  This brief interview with one of BYD’s engineers brings us some images of the e6 that I have not seen previously.
